Kev Dyson - Guitar, Guitar Synthesizer, Vocals
Kev Dyson (Dysongs) is the musical arranger for Quartz. He has been playing guitar since the age of 9 and now has his own studio. After playing in various school bands in the early seventies, Kev turned professional with Final Decision in 1972 touring abroad in Germany and the Channel Islands and also all over Great Britain.
Kev joined the rest of the band (then known as The Chordets) in 1976 and co-founded Quartz in 1991. He has always been very much involved with computers and recording and has pioneered the application of MIDI guitar synthesizers in live music.
Today Kev runs his own digital media business 'Dysongs' and provides not only musical and recording services but also video, web, animation and graphics.
Kev also plays with his pub-duo Onyx and also performs as a solo artist.
