In 2000 I was invited to Chris Robinson's 50th Birthday-Bash and on a very enjoyable night met up with many old muso friends. The whole of Uptown Traffic were there, Andy and Dave Benson (both guitar and vocals) from Ebony, Andy Green (guitar vocals) and Dave Corbett (keyboard), Andy Carter (drums), Mark Carter (drums) and Dave Holland (bass) from Burgundy Wine.
Also Reg Presley from The Troggs made a brief appearance. Many musos were invited to play on stage and this got Chris and I back together to work on a new project Onyx.
Onyx is a pub duo playing good commercial songs from the sixties and seventies using mp3 backing tracks played back using a laptop computer. This has given us both the opportunity to play the songs we have always wanted to play. Chris and I recorded a CD single in 2001. We have done some weddings and actually performed in church!
